Chisos Mountain Agave (NEW)
Big Bend National Park, Texas
On my visit to Big Bend National Park, one of my main goals was to photograph the amazing agave plants that live there. I noticed this one located directly next to the road that led to our campsite at Chisos Basin Campground. As we would travel the road, back and forth from camp, exploring the park, I would stop and make images of this scene with the Chisos Mountains in the distance. Of all those images, this is my favorite, due to the balance between the star shape of the agave and distant peaks with hanging clouds from recent storms.
